The work on connecting the ski slopes between Bualie and Storefjell is in full swing.

The work on connecting the ski slopes between Bualie and Storefjell is in full swing. This will be a significant boost for Golsfjellet, the local business community, all ski enthusiasts, and cabin owners. The elevation difference between the top of Storefjell (1149 meters above sea level) and the new base station will be a whopping 191.3 meters, and several new runs and a larger area for off-piste skiing will be established.

Gol municipality aims to complete the municipal plan before the summer holidays of 2024, and there are no objections from the State Administration or the County Municipality. All the involved landowners are also supportive of this project. According to the schedule, construction will commence in the spring of 2025, with the opening of the connecting lift and the new runs scheduled for Christmas 2025.
